Curse of Frankenstein (1957)

 In Hammer

As a Baby Boomer I grew up on Hammer Studio films. I watched them all at the movie theater and countless times in video format since then. From the first film done in 1957, The Curse of Frankenstein, one of the key scenes is when Dr. Frankenstein (Peter Cushing) enters his lab and finds to his shock and surprise the monster (Christopher Lee) is alive. Immediately the monster chokes Frankenstein and physically lifts him up by the neck. It is this scene that is so elegantly captured by the Master, Jeff Yagher, and released by Forbidden Zone. Included with the kit were some lab shelf pieces but I also added to the items from my spares box and scratch built others. The ‘organs’ inside the glass jars are made out of aves epoxy putty and painted. The old anatomy images were obtained over the Internet.
