The Fly (1958)

One of the most instantly recognized lines from any film is from the The Fly, starring Vincent Price. At the end of that film, when the fly-man hybrid is caught in a spider’s web and is about to be consumed by a spider we can hear the high-pitched scream of “help meeee…help meeeeeee”. It still sends chills up and down my spine. This small kit more or less captures the fly-man creature with the body of a fly and the head and left arm of a man. Pearlescent pigments were used to give the main fly body that characteristic sheen flies have.
