The Green Slime (1968)

This kit was all in all a straightforward build with no particular difficulties. The kit I received did not have a face place for the astronaut’s helmet and the diorama needed one. I cut a piece of clear blister pack plastic and wrapped it around a 1 inch dowel. I gently heated it with a heat gun making the plastic form to the contour of the dowel. After that it was simply a matter of cutting the piece to cover the astronaut’s face plate and gluing it in place.
